Great huge beer selection and the food is surprisingly good. From the outside you would not expect the caliber of the food to be what it is. It's not Michelin rating good, but far far better than any preconceived notions from driving by it. The brothers that own and run it are good people. I've had more than one conversation with them. Both have an interest in gardening and spicy peppers. I've brought some of my own super hot in to share and we all had a couple of laughs. Definitely visit the place, plus.....they have one of the very best IPAs there is. ;)

Food was really good. Beer selection was massive. Service was horrendous. Honestly the worst waitress ever. She was pleasant and friendly but only 2 tables of 4 at the time, ours being one of those 2, and she honestly came back to our table FOUR different times to go over the order with us. An hour after sitting down we got our food. Miraculously it was correct. The other table weren't as lucky. Same thing, 4 times back and forth, finally got the food over an hour after sitting down, but the order was not right. I feel badly posting this because the place seems like a great place to hang out at the bar, good food and incredibly huge selection of beers. Bottled and tap. But I've honestly never had worse service. I would try it again if I were in the area but would ask for a different server if the same one was there.

I go there a lot. It is one of Long island's oldest places. It has a strong local following. It has very good bands there. It is like Rocky Points cheers. Good food, good bartenders. It has a very good selection of craft brews on tap and a very good selection of craft bottles to choose from. The best onion soup and potato skins anywhere by far. Food is overall good. Ya gotta try it.

A feeling of home when you walk through the door and that smell of your favorite restaurant as a child, I was surprised by my dinner at DEKS. The interior needs some updating, and the wait time was a little long but the wait was worth it. Lobster tempura for a starter is a must. A sweet and spicy Thai sauce that accompanies it will make you order a second. I had fresh fluke which was perfectly fine with butter and lemon.

Went for a few drinks during one of the summer concerts across the street. It was pretty busy and we waited a bit at the bar before being served. We ordered 3 separate rounds (the same drinks each time) and were charged a different amount each time. It seemed each bartender charged their own prices. The women's bathroom was kind of gross but I'm sure it's not always like that. Will most likely give it another shot.
